Ms. Laurence was pleased to be a panelist at the Chicagoland National Nanny Training day in Naperville, IL. It was a fun and exciting Saturday workshop for nannies from around the area who were eager to learn new skills and grow together for the good of their charges and careers.
The panel discussion was centered on how to further your career as a nanny and move into other household positions if desired and featured Ms. Laurence discussing various aspect of career choices in the private service industry, Elizabeth Gengembre representing Mahler Staffing, (a domestic staffing agency,) and two former nannies who made the leap into other job positions within the industry: Amanda Crooks, a developmental therapist with Tiny Steps Therapy in Elmhurst, IL, and India Poole, a former nanny turned House/Estate Manager. The day was action packed and very rewarding, this is Ms. Laurence's second time presenting at a local National Nanny Training Day and looks forward to being involved with this endeavor at future events!
